Siblings: NEDA Week Day 6
The connection between siblings is one of the most unique relationships that many of us will experience in our lifetime. Whether it is rooted in classic sibling rivalry, merged into one identity, or somewhere in between, the bond we have with our siblings is unlike any bond we have with anyone else. When it comes to body image, it is fascinating to see how siblings from the same family can have either the same challenges with their body satisfaction or be on opposite ends of the spectrum. When it comes to eating disorders, we also see similarities and disparities among siblings; which begs for additional research into the genetic predisposition for developing an e.d. and close examination of the nature nurture influences on self-image.
Today is day 6 of NEDA Week and the NEDA forum will be focusing on Siblings from 9-10pm EST/6-7m PST
