What May The Effects Be Of Eating Foods I Would Generally Not Allow Myself And Spitting Them Out? This Is An Effort To End/Avoid A Bingeing And Purging Cycle. I Do Eat Enough Food I Actually Swallow.

The Biggest ‘Danger’ In This
janurse427 – 01/07/2010 – 08:31

The biggest ‘danger’ in this is the mindset that it strengthens. By doing this, you are not eating normally, or at least treating food normally. It sounds as if you may have struggled with b/p in the past, and if so, this behavior is simply an offshoot of the continued emotional component that is beneath it. Also, the obsessive nature of this behavior may indeed be affecting the quality and freedom of your life. I suggest that you consult with a therapist to work on what the emotional comonents are. Take good care!
