Yes! Binging and purging can cause a very dangerous electrolyte imbalance, which can result in blood sugar irregularities, blood pressure problems (low), and dizziness….among other individual problems. A person can damage their throat and/or esophagus without realizing it. Dehydration is also a dangerous problem for a person who has bulimia. These things are not causes of an eating disorder, but results/consequences of the behaviors of an eating disorder. It is important that you see a doctor as soon as possible to assess the cause of the symptoms you are experiencing. It is very important that you are totally honest with your doctor, or they can’t help you. Please get help.

No! Blurry eyes, fuzzy head, throat feeling like it is closing and panic attacks are NOT symptoms of Bulimia. However, they are symptoms of an anixety disorder and panic attack disorder. Which is a symptom of bulimia.
You are indeed harming your body with the bulimia! Below is a list of symptoms of Bulimia from the Mayo Clinic.
* Feeling that you can’t control your eating behavior
* Eating until the point of discomfort or pain
* Eating much more food in a binge episode than in a normal meal or snack
* Forcing yourself to vomit after eating
* Exercising excessively
* Misuse of laxatives, diuretics or enemas
* Being preoccupied with your body shape and weight
* Having a distorted, excessively negative body image
* Going to the bathroom after eating or during meals
* Abnormal bowel functioning
* Damaged teeth and gums
* Swollen salivary glands in the cheeks
* Sores in the throat and mouth
* Dehydration
* Irregular heartbeat
* Sores, scars or calluses on the knuckles or hands
* Menstrual irregularities or loss of menstruation (amenorrhea)
