Bethenny Frankel Poses In 4-Year-Old Daughter’s Clothing

Fans of former “Real Housewife” Bethenny Frankel were outraged on Sunday when the 43-year-old entrepreneur posted a picture of herself on Instagram wearing her 4-year-old daughter’s pajamas.

“This is my daughter’s nightgown and PJ shorts,” she wrote. “Think we’re ready to start sharing clothes yet?”

Frankel’s followers responded with some heated comments, mostly accusing her of sending the wrong message about body image.

“That’s crazy Bethenny eat some food,” Instagram follower Jazz Maica wrote.

Former eating disorder problems

Face of the “Skinny Girl” brand, Frankel admitted in 2011 to struggling with disordered eating habits. According to the New York Daily News, the star tried multiple diets to cope with a pattern of starvation and binge eating.

After the picture was posted, some fans expressed their disappointment in Frankel’s decision to pose in her daughter’s clothes.

“You’re using your ‘power’ as a celebrity in the wrong way,” said Instagram user Katie Brown.

Frankel, however, defended the picture as just the snapshot of a humorous moment:

“BREAKING NEWS! World Scandal: Former reality star, failed talk show host & cocktail maven jokes by wearing her kids’ pjs! ?#itcantbetrue,” Franekl tweeted.
