Getting Past It

Sometimes the best way to get over something is to have help when getting through it. This help can come from anywhere. For good measure, you should try to surround yourself with people that you know support you and make you feel good. Surrounding yourself with the very people who except you for who you are will help you to realize that it is not all about being like somebody else, it is more important to be yourself. You will start to feel like the eating disorder is non-existent compare to having true friends and family around you. Another good thing about having so many caring people close is that they will be your immediate support group should you feel the need to start doing things that are actually working against you. Having that immediate support is often a make or break situation for those trying to recover from an eating disorder.
