The Many Kinds And Causes Of Eating Disorders

For me, eating disorders are as critical as mental problems; if they were not prevented at the right time, they could turn the life of the sufferer into total agony. They can be very dangerous due to the fact that people with eating disorders get to a point where their body can not fight anymore, and they die.

Both men and women, young and old can be subject to having a certain kind of eating disorder, whether it be Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating, Compulsive Eating or just any other kind; it all depends on the reason why they started raising this habit in the first place. For example, some people use food to cope with their anger, worry, loneliness, shame or any other destructive emotion, they tend to escape from those feelings through either eating excessively or cutting eating out believing that this is the only way they can control their lives and keep track of it, and I’ve seen many people with different kinds of eating disorders, and it’s really bad.

Usually, an eating disorder is a result of a combination of causes rather than only one; that might include: pressure, neglect, abuse, and so on.
