Think Before You Eat

I’m sure everyone has always heard people telling you to think before you eat. Maybe they mean that you should “watch what you eat”? If you are eating just because you are bored or maybe just because you have an urge to do something, then this is definitely a bad reason to eat. Many feel that this is where the eating disorders start. Once you have started using boredom as a way of eating, you could easily start eating more and more when you are not bored. This in turn could lead to a big problem known as “overeating”. Stuffing your face until you feel some kind of satisfaction is usually a good sign of this. You should consider trying to find some type of help and fast. Even if it is just talking with a friend or talking with a close family member, it is still a good step in the right direction.
