Do You Love Yourself?

I know therapy is expensive, but don’t let money be a reason you don’t get help for your eating disorder. 12 Step groups are all free, and have meetings around the clock online and in person around the world.
Bibliotherapy is another free or inexpensive way to get help. Bibliotherapy is a fancy way of saying “reading books to help you feel better.” Technically, it’s about changing the way we think. Our actions are based on the way we think about our feelings. If we can change the way we think, we can change the way we act.
Consider reading one of my favorite books, “How to Love Yourself by Louise L. Hay. In it, she guides you through each of her ten steps to loving yourself. She discusses the concept of criticism, the power of meditation, being willing to change, what you believe you deserve, and much more. These ten steps are perfect for you if you’re looking for more realistic, practical ways to feel good about yourself.
If you’re really ready to work, add the “Love Yourself: Heal Your Life Workbook” by Louise Hay for some additional work. Are you ready to get healthy? Why not begin today and do something loving that is a step toward healing?
