New Clinical Trials Recruiting For People With Eating Disorders
Every so often, I provide information on clinical trials for this blog. Clinical trials are a great way to get access to potential treatments for Eating Disorders usually for free, plus you get the added benefit of contributing to research that will help others behind you.
To find your own clinical trials, go to clinicaltrials.gov and type in the name of the condition in the search box (i.e. eating disorders, bulimia, binge eating disorder, etc)
Here are a few to get you started:

Minnesota: Individuals diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and an eating disorder who manipulate their insulin
The ED/DM Recovery Group focuses on assisting individuals with diabetes and an eating disorder – specifically the struggle of withholding insulin. The group utilizes strategies and tools that have been taught in other EDI programs, and also builds on the strengths of a group. The group is a means for learning and support as the individuals continue a regular schedule of school, work, and/or family life.
