Perfectionists Are Prone To Eating Disorders
Persons who are perfectionist have strong tendencies to suffer eating disorder in the future.
According to the study due to the quest of some people who wish to be at their best at all times it leads into an eating disorder into the future.
The common eating disorder linked to being a perfectionist is Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia.
Anorexia Nervosa is defined as an eating disorder of excessive weight loss and usually undue concern about body shape.
Bulimia on the other hand is an eating disorder characterized by recurrent binge eating, followed by compensatory behaviors referred to as “purging”.
The medical research showed that due to the intention of some people to look good and be good at all times they end up having some eating problems due to stress and pressure caused by their type of personality.
Since achieving success in everything we do is almost synonymous to impossible, many perfectionist became frustrated and end up having some eating disorders in the end.
This medical finding is a reminder to all that asking for the world at all a time is bad.
The people should realize that humans have no power to be perfect at all times since error and failures are part of life.
It would also be good if we place in our mind that if we sought to be perfect it might lead to an eating disorder, which might out our life in jeopardy.
As humans we would just to accept and limitations since we are not perfect and just focus more on our talents and skills for us to be happy at all times.
