My Boyfriend Is In Recovery From An Overeating Disorder. I Would Really Like To Know How I Might Be Able To Support Him In His Journey To Managing This Disorder.

There Are A Couple Of Things

There are a couple of things you could do. Is he seeing a therapist or in treatment somewhere? If so, you could offer to go with him to a session with his therapist, so that you all could discuss the best ways you can be a positive support for him.
You could also simply ASK him how you can support him in the most helpful way. Tell him that you don’t want to deter him from recovery, and that you want to understand, so can he help you so that you can do what is most helpful? I hope that helps!

Oh, I do sympathize. I have asked him how I might be able to support him. He didn’t really give me much to work with.

Thank you for your input.
God bless,

I suggest you go to http://www.bulimia.com/, which is the site for Gurze books, the largest library of books related to eating disorders. They have many of these types of educational/supportive publications.
Take care!
