Counseling has increased in popularity the past few years as it gets away from the stereotypical image of “What’s wrong with me?”. Today, counseling is seen as a positive and proactive approach to improve one’s quality of life. People are finally realizing there are special techniques, educational tools and coping skills they can learn to battle depression, anxiety, eating disorders, as well as improve relationships. In this fast paced world, many people are no longer willing to let their emotions control their life, but they reach outward for understanding and answers – counseling provides a neutral third party where clients can explore their issues in a safe, caring and confidential environment.

If you are a treatment center representative or an individual providing treatment, you can submit your listing in our directory. Click here to get started.

Where do calls go?

Calls to numbers on a specific treatment center listing will be routed to that treatment center. Calls to any general helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) could be forwarded to SAMHSA or a verified treatment provider. Calls are routed based on availability and geographic location.

The helpline is free, private, and confidential. There is no obligation to enter treatment. In some cases, could charge a small cost per call, to a licensed treatment center, a paid advertiser, this allows to offer free resources and information to those in need. We do not receive any commission or fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a caller chooses.
