Chrysalis Counseling is the private practice of Dana Penny Schmitt, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. It was created to help empower people by transformation, healing, and growth. I welcome people of all ages, gender, race, and sexual orientation or identity.

I treat many disorders that affect interpersonal conflict, personal struggles, self-esteem, and the existential dilemma (“Who am I? What am I doing in this world?”).

Struggling with any of these issues is often a very painful and lonely experience. My goal is to create deep and meaningful therapeutic environment to help individuals heal. I have extensive experience in the field across many therapeutic areas, with specialties in adolescents, eating disorders, and interpersonal conflicts. Both individual sessions and groups can be scheduled easily. I look forward to hearing from you.
