What Can I Do When My Eating Pattern Is One Meal Per Day Of Really Unhealthy Takeout/Fast Food And I’m Afraid To Keep Food In The House Because I Compulsively Eat It?

If You Are Only Eating One

If you are only eating one meal a day, you are setting yourself up to eat compulsively. If our bodies do not get frequent adequate nutrition, the likelihood is that the urge to overeat or binge will take over.
I think you could help yourself by planning to eat at least 3 meals a day, with 2 snacks in between, in order to get your nutrional state back in balance. Some people claim they don’t have time, but this could be a life threatening situation if not resolved…there is time!! You can make it a priority, yet it doesn’t take a lot of time.
If you are eating consistently, the cravings for the foods that you eat compulsively will probably decrease. The key is balance and moderation. NO FOOD is BAD. When you label it as such and deprive yourself of it, you will again set yourself up for problems.
Please consider this, and remember YOUR health is most important!!
