I am devoted to the unique needs of people suffering from anorexia, bulimia, and bing eating disorders. I have 6 years of experience working both inpatient and outpatient treatment. My approach is multidisciplinary, including the collaboration with other providers involved in the client’s life. I use a cognitive behavioral approach to challenge the eating disorder thoughts and behaviors. I help clients identify and correct errors in thinking, such as body image distortions, perfectionism and control issues. I help to identify ways to overcome barriers to the eating disorder and help to find more healthy ways of coping and caring for oneself.
