You have a very serious eating disorder. You need to seek treatment as soon as possible. When purging behavior is going on, you are losing valuable electrolytes that can affect your heart and other organs dramatically. The good feeling that comes from losing weight is not realistic. You most likely have underlying issues that are causing these behaviors to block your true emotions about other things in your life. You are correct in that the behaviors can become addictic, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t change them. It is vital that you seek medical and psychological help as soon as possible.
