Hi, i am a 21 year old male, i used to weigh 17 stone and be quite large. Diets and other methods of weight loss did not work for me matterless how hard i tried. I eventually turned to making myself sick whenever i eat a meal so i would feel full but not have any food inside me. In the last 2 and a half months i have lsot nearly 2.5stone in weight and i feel much better about myself. I am going for one more stone in weight before i start to eat properly again. Does this make me bulimic? i dont want to get to the point where i cannot stop making myself sick.

‘Making Yourself Sick’ Is Not

‘Making yourself sick’ is not a safe way to control your weight, and yes, you could be crossing over to the ‘bulimia’ side, in terms of this becoming a real health issue with complex emotional components. The concern is that there are many dangers to purging. Please see a professional about this before you become more ill.
