Someday Melissa – Screening In Newport Beach, CA

Someday Melissa

The International Association of Eating Disorder
Professionals of Orange County, California is holding a public screening of the
documentary Someday Melissa. Melissa
Arvin struggled with an eating disorder until her death at age 19. Throughout
her life, even in the darkest moments of her addiction, Melissa’s creativity
shined through. It was always hard for her to express her feelings verbally so
she used film making, writing, drawing and acting as means of self-expression. A
gifted writer from a young age, her journals were filled with powerful messages
of hope along with words of sadness and pain. This is a moving documentary,
Directed by Melissa Arvin’s mother.

We have mentioned Someday Melissa before on our blog, but
now it will be screening in our own backyard of Newport Coast next month!
