Probably one of the hardest things to control is our own appetite. For a great number of people, reaching for another serving of mashed potatoes or another piece of fried chicken seems like the most natural thing to do.

It is easy to turn to food any moment of the day. Many turn to food when they are bored. Some turn to food when they are sad or afraid. Many more others turn to food when they are happy, as a way to celebrate something and an excuse to eat a lot. Emotional eating has produced obesity in many people. From being at a normal weight, they come to a point when they suddenly become surprised to find themselves obese. “How did I get here?” This is a common utterance among people who struggle with weight. They have focused so much on what they feel that they lost sight of who they really are.
